Smart Tickets is a free AI receipt scanner for iPhone and Android that turns a photo of any paper or digital receipt into structured expense data in seconds. You point your phone's camera at a receipt from a supermarket, restaurant, gas station or most other retailers, and the app automatically reads every line item, price and total — with no manual typing. Once a receipt is scanned, your expenses are organised by category and store, so you can see exactly where your money goes each month, set spending limits per category and get alerts before you go over budget. Smart Tickets also tracks the price history of the products you buy regularly, so you can spot when a price drops and buy at the right moment. Reviewing already-scanned expenses works offline; scanning new receipts needs an internet connection because the AI runs in the cloud.

Is Smart Tickets free?+

Yes. Downloading Smart Tickets and scanning your receipts is completely free — you can capture receipts, see your spending organised by category and store, and check the price history of your products without paying anything. For people who track a lot of receipts there are optional premium features, but the core receipt scanner, expense tracker and price monitor all work at no cost on both iPhone and Android.

Does it work with any receipt?+

The AI reads receipts from supermarkets, restaurants, gas stations and most retailers, in both printed and digital form. As long as the photo is in focus and the paper is legible, it extracts the individual products, their prices and the total in seconds. Faded, crumpled or partially torn receipts may need a clearer photo, and you can always review and correct any line before saving it.

How accurate is the receipt scanning?+

Smart Tickets uses AI to read the text on your receipt and identify each product, price and total automatically. Accuracy is highest when the receipt is well lit, in focus and laid flat. Because no automatic reading is perfect, the app always lets you review the extracted data and correct any item before saving, so your expense records stay accurate.

Do I need an internet connection?+

Scanning needs a connection because the AI processing runs in the cloud. Once a receipt has been processed, you can review your expenses, categories and price history offline, without a connection.

Is my data safe and private?+

Your privacy is central to how Smart Tickets works. Your receipts are encrypted in transit and only you can access your own data. We never sell your information to third parties. You stay in control: you can review, edit or delete individual receipts, and you can permanently delete your account together with all of its content at any time, directly from the app.

Can I export my expenses?+

You can export your history by month or category to drop into a spreadsheet, send to your accountant or upload to your bookkeeping software.

What languages does the app support?+

Smart Tickets is fully available in Spanish and English — both the app interface and the AI receipt recognition. You can scan receipts written in either language and the app will read them correctly, which is useful if you shop across different countries or regions.
